Deer

The Shiner Ranch has been managing it's deer herd for over 20 years.  The ranch combines age, nutrition, and genetics to raise superior bucks.  All deer on the ranch are native deer, living wild in the South Texas brush.  Jason Sekula is the Wildlife Manager responsible for all aspects of the hunting operation.  Jason has been working on the ranch since 2001.

A free-choice feeding program has been in place for the last 14 years.  The ranch feeds protein year round to supplement the deer herd.

Turkey

The Shiner has been providing turkey hunts for the past six years with 100% success!  Turkey crops have been improving and hunters are enjoying the benefits.

All hunts include lodging, open bar, meals, and transportation to and from hunting location.  Four or more hunters required.

Quail

Some of the best wild bird hunts offered in South Texas!  Don't be surprised if you see over 40 coveys in two days!
