The Shiner Ranch has been raising quarter horses since it's establishment in 1881. Some
of the finest genetics and proven working horses in Texas have been introduced in the herd since. We now run a
remuda of 10 or more gelding/mare mix, 15 brood mares and one stud. 95 % of our colts are sold private treaty after
halter breaking and weaning. All brood mares are proven ranch horses that have been in the remuda for more than five
years. All horses on the ranch are AQHA with certified papers. Shiner Ranch horses have been proven
on the ranch and in the arena, so if you are looking for a buckle, brood mare, or working horse for your operation contact

Colts range in color from black to gray with everything in between. All colts are halter broken, freeze branded,
loaded and unloaded from trailers and weaned when sold. Stud and mare papers are available upon request.
